With a presence in the desired country, Mosaic acts as the representative to employ an employee on behalf of the company. For example, an Australian firm can easily hire an employee in Singapore through Mosaic's EOR services. Once you partner with Mosaic, we take care of the entire process, including hiring, onboarding, and HR admin tasks, to ensure compliance with global legal requirements. Although employees are on Mosaic's payroll, they work for your company under the EOR model, just like any other employee.
  • 02. What is the difference between an EOR and PEO?
    An Employer of Record (EOR) can hire employees for you in countries where you don't have a legal entity, but a professional employer organization (PEO) may not. To put it simply, if you want to employ someone in a country where you don't own a legal entity, you need an EOR. If you need help managing HR functions in a region where you already have your own entity, you need a PEO. Unlike an EOR, a PEO doesn't handle the legal employment of your employees in other countries.
